Survey | Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church

For the past several years, Madison Mission has been engaged in a building project, a sanctuary, a new worship space to the glory of God. The new space will seat up to 800, a beautiful open lobby, children’s wing, along with space for community outreach and church ministry.

We have been committed to this project for some time, and now is the time to make this final push towards realization. We are committed to building this worship space to provide us the means necessary in our current space to do the work of ministry, enriching the lives of the community around us and Madison Mission members for God’s kingdom.

While we have made great strides in raising money for this project, much more is needed.

In Exodus 25:1-2, when it was time to build the sanctuary, God told Moses to ask for voluntary contributions from among the people of God. Here’s what the text says:

“The Lord said to Moses, tell the people of Israel to bring me their sacred offerings. Accept the contributions from all whose hearts are moved to offer them.”

Ellen White in her book Patriarchs and Prophets, pages 334-335, offers this inspiration:

“For the building of the sanctuary great and expensive preparations were necessary; a large amount of the most precious and costly materials was required; yet the Lord accepted only freewill offerings.” All who love the worship of God and prize the blessings of His sacred presence will manifest the same spirit of sacrifice in preparing a house where God may meet with them. They will desire to bring to the Lord an offering of the very best they possess.”

We know it’s been a while, and based on what you can see, nothing has happened. But please keep in mind these kinds of things take time to bring to pass. Egypt was enslaved for 430 years before deliverance. We’ve been at this for 10 years. Some things take time.
