Our Pastor

Pastor David Lee serves as Madison Mission’s 3 rd and current Senior Pastor. Pastor Lee is a 2-time graduate of Oakwood University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Theology. His four children accompany him, along with his wife Haneika, who is also a graduate of Oakwood University and University of Phoenix (MBA).

Pastor Lee was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He began his ministry in the South Central Conference of Seventh Day Adventists as the Associate Pastor of the Oakwood University Church (2006-08), then under the Senior leadership of Dr. Craig Newborn. After nearly two years of ministry at Oakwood, Pastor Lee was assigned to the Smyrna SDA-Huntsville/Philadelphia SDA-Pulaski, Tn Church district. After experiencing growth, debt reduction and stability in his district, having served 3 years in the district, Pastor Lee was then assigned to the New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church in Louisville, KY. From January 2012 until May 2016, Pastor Lee served in Kentucky until he was asked by former Senior Pastor Gregory Nelson to serve as the Associate Pastor of Administration. South Central Conference assigned Pastor Lee to Madison Mission as Associate Pastor, but in July 2017, Pastor Gregory Nelson accepted a call to be Senior Pastor of his home church back in New York. Pastor Lee was then assigned by the South Central Conference of Seventh Day Adventists as our Senior Pastor.

Under the leadership of Pastor Lee, and continuing the vision of Madison’s founder along with the diligence of Madison’s former Interim Senior Pastor Damian Chandler (2011-14) and Senior Pastor Greg Nelson (2013-17), the church is embarking on a major building project for the honor and glory of God.

Pastor Lee is grateful that God has made a way for mankind to boldly come to his throne for grace and help in time of need. Says Pastor Lee, “I’m just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, about somebody who can save anybody!”
